A one-of-a-kind floral tote bag designed, hand-embroidered, cut and sewn entirely by me.
The embroidery is inspired by the colorful floral traditions of Hungarian folk art, reinterpreted in my own ISMyTYPE style. I created the floral composition and embroidered the design by hand using quality embroidery floss.
The white cotton base is covered with richly textured flowers in red, pink, purple, blue and yellow, surrounded by deep green leaves. Red lace ruffles and delicate red trim along the handles add contrast and give the bag a playful finish.
From developing the embroidery design and selecting the colors to hand-stitching the floral motifs and sewing the finished bag, every stage was completed by me.
