About ISMyTYPE
ISMyTYPE is an independent clothing label built around a love of fabric, color and making things by hand.
Each piece begins with fabrics chosen for their print, texture and character. I cut, piece and sew them together slowly, often letting the colors and patterns guide the final design. Because of this process, no two pieces are ever quite the same.
Patchwork is at the heart of ISMyTYPE, but the idea has always been simple: to make clothes that feel special without being too precious to wear.
Everything is made in small quantities, with many pieces created only once.
Made slowly. Made to be worn. One of a kind, always.
Made From the Beginning
Every ISMyTYPE piece starts with fabric, color, and an idea. I cut, arrange, and sew each piece myself in my small studio, building the patchwork from the beginning rather than cutting into ready-made quilts.
I make slowly and in small quantities, often just one piece of each design. The little differences are part of the process and part of what makes each piece its own.
Made One at a Time
I don’t work from a fixed combination of fabrics or repeat the same piece over and over. Each design comes together as I work choosing colors, prints, and patchwork combinations individually.
Once a piece is finished, that exact combination won’t be made again. It belongs to that piece alone.
From My Studio
Every piece is made here in my small studio in Thailand from the first cut of fabric to the final stitch.
